Excellence in Creative Education
Students learn the power of story through the framework of film and visual production, applying key skills such as reflective analysis, problem solving skills, critical thinking and teamwork.
We have produced over 200 television programs and films for some of the tops names in media: National Geographic, BBC, Fox, Channel 5, Discovery, Animal Planet to name a few.
Our shows can be found on these channels and also syndicated around the world in outlets such as Netflix, British Airways, hotel chains etc.
Our professional production work led us into education in 2007 when a local school asked us to mentor a small group of students. This very quickly became a very large group of students and Florida Film Academy was born. Today Florida Film Academy operates from a 10,000 sq ft backlot Studio in Winter Garden, Florida and every Summer we take the show on tour to Colleges across the state. But we can’t be everywhere, so our franchise – Six Pixels – was born, to ensure as many children as possible have access to our programs.
Our passion for creativity, our tireless dedication in making sure our students are exposed to real world opportunities, our commitment to an evolving curriculum that adapts to meet current industry standards, our determination to make creative learning a priority, our philosophy that creative opportunity should be available to every student, our industry and education connections and, of course, our credentials.
